American band founded in the early sixties as The Exiles, shortened to Exile in 1973. They hit the big time in 1978 when “Kiss You All Over” topped the American charts, written and produced by pop masterminds Nicky Chinn and Mike Chapman, the guys responsible for Sweet, Mud, Smokie, Suzi Quatro etc. During the eighties they had an ever greater success as a country act, scoring ten number one singles.
