Perhaps best known for starring in the movie “The Harder They Come” as well as providing the music for the soundtrack, Jimmy was one of the first successful reggae artists in the sixties. His version of the Johnny Nash song was the theme for another motion picture, “Cool Runnings”, telling the unlikely but true story about a Jamaican bobslead team.
