Mr Music Country 4 – 2011
Who said that that real basic country music is dead? There are now lots of young newcomers singing and playing traditional country music. This time we include three recording debutants: Troy Anderson, Never Mind and Teea Goans. Troy opens this compilation with "Cold Beer", a song currently climbing the airplay lists in Texas and Europe. Never Mind is a new group from Norway, the Scandinavian country which probably in general produces the best country music.
On a dark, snowy and stormy afternoon this January Teea Goans received a phone call from Steve Gibson at the Grand Ole Opry. He asked her if she would like to sing at the Opry that very evening because there had been a few cancellations. This fitted in very well with her newly released first album, produced by Terry Choate, the man who also introduced her to the music business in Nashville. He runs Crosswinds Corporation, the company which involves The Time Jumpers a group which now consists of 11 of the most talented musicians and singers. Read more at:
Some of our other contributors have made a few albums and are now climbing the ladder to stardom, including Daniel Hobbs, Eleven Hundred Springs, Amber Digby and Kim Carson. The latter in this group, who had her first release back in 1997, is the most skilled. She runs her own record company, Banks Street Records, which is where Swedish talent Theresa Andersson releases her CDs.
The rest of this wild bunch are more or less established in the music industry, with one German, one Englishman, three Swedes and four Americans. In total, this album is more international than any album released in the past.
